Empower Your Leaders

After individuals and teams know their strengths, the final step is to ensure leaders are enabled to sustain the engagement. It’s important they keep up the great work carried out by having informal and formal conversations about strengths and consider how they might delegate and set goals and tasks on this knowledge. Leadership development and coaching skills can form part of this training.

Your leaders will be trained to use the Team Manager Profile. This is an easy to use tool that gets to the point, giving direct advice on developing and applying each team member’s top 2 realised and unrealised strengths. The Team Manager Toolkit gives templates and advice on being a strengths-based leader.

Coaching Format:

Coaching Plan:

  • 3 x 1-hour consulting sessions with the Team Manager

  • Team Manager Profile is developed based on their teams profile

Resilient Teams at Work

Team Resilience is the collective capability of the team to manage the everyday pressure of work and remain healthy, to adapt to and learn from unexpected setbacks and to prepare for future challenges proactively.

The Resilience at Work® (R@W) Team Scale is a powerful diagnostic tool that provides your team valuable insights on sustaining performance in times of high pressure, uncertainty, complexity and change.

The program aims to create a work climate that is adaptable and stakeholder focused yet preserves employee wellbeing and engagement.

The results provide a clear snapshot of a team’s strengths and areas to strengthen. Using the results, the team co-designs strategies in the areas that will most build resilience in their unique working environment.

Leading Resilient Teams at Work

Effective leaders ‘walk the talk’ and model
resilience without invulnerability.
In addition, they act in a way that fosters the
resilience of others.

The Resilience at Work® (R@W) Leader Scales are powerful diagnostic tools that provide leaders with valuable insights on how they can help their teams sustain performance in times of high pressure, uncertainty, complexity and change.

There are two versions of the leader scales:

  1. The R@W Leader Self-Rating: This scale allows a leader to self-rate their leadership in relation to the actions they take in fostering resilience in others.

  2. The R@W Leader - 180: This allows leaders to compare their self-ratings with those of the employees they lead.

The results provide a clear snapshot of leadership strengths and areas to strengthen. Working with you and your results, strategies are co-created in the areas that will most benefit your team leadership.

Coaching Format:

Coaching Plan:

  • 3 x 1-hour coaching sessions

IMPACTFUL LEADERSHIP SERIES

DISC Profile

DISC is an observable “needs-motivated” instrument based on the idea that emotions and behaviours are neither “good” nor “bad.” Rather, behaviours reveal the needs that motivate that behaviour. Therefore, once we can accurately observe one’s actions, it is easier to “read” and anticipate their likely motivators and needs.

DISC is a simple, practical, easy to remember and universally applicable model. It focuses on individual patterns of external, observable behaviours and measures the intensity of characteristics using scales of directness and openness for each of the four styles:

  • (D)ominance of Problems

  • (I)nfluence of People

  • (S)teadiness of Pace

  • (C)onscientiousness of Procedures

Using the DISC model, it is easy to identify and understand our own style, recognize and cognitively adapt to different styles, and develop a process to communicate more effectively with others.

Assessment Plan:

  • Assessment link is sent to individuals to complete

  • 1-hour decoding session for each person (with the option for on-going coaching)

  • Option for team building programs available

DISC-Motivators-Emblem.png

Motivators

Just as the DISC assessment gives insight into “how” someone will behave, the Motivators assessment explains “why.” Motivators are the reasons we want to act. They help people to better understand their value hierarchy or belief system. They filter and guide decisions specifically toward the results that reflect them, and they combine uniquely for each person to influence priorities and decision making. Motivators reveal our viewpoint, our mindset, and our paradigm of thought.

The Motivators assessment offers an in-depth identification and exploration of seven dimensions and how they uniquely combine to influence behaviour, decision and actions:

  • Aesthetic is a drive for balance, harmony and form.

  • Economic is a drive for return on investment (including time, money, resources).

  • Individualistic is a drive to stand out as independent and unique.

  • Power is a drive to be in control or have influence.

  • Altruistic is a drive to help others at the expense of self.

  • Regulatory is a drive to establish order, routine and structure.

  • Theoretical is the drive for knowledge, learning and understanding.
